At first, it was just a small idea — create something people could take with them from a trade show. A sticker they might throw on a water bottle, cooler or toolbox and forget about later.
Funny thing: they didn’t.
Over time, the outdoor sticker series has turned into an extension of Swanson Russell’s expertise across agriculture, construction, outdoor recreation and the green industry. Each design pulls from the realities of those industries — how people work, what they care about and how they spend their time when the job is done. They're fun and familiar — and that’s what’s given the series its staying power.
Now in its seventh release, the collection includes 35 unique designs, all rooted in real audience understanding. And as the series has grown, so has the response. The work has also earned creative recognition, including a Silver Award at the 2026 American Advertising Awards, hosted by AAF Nebraska.
But the real measure of sticker success shows up in the real world. In the way different people connect with different designs — and where the stickers have ended up: at work, at play and everywhere in between.
