Fishing may be one of the easiest ways to enjoy the outdoors — but for many first-timers, getting started feels intimidating. Questions about gear, licenses and where to go stop people before they ever cast a line. Add in busy schedules and digital distractions, and it’s no wonder fishing gets left for “someday.” Nebraska Game & Parks wanted to change that — by showing how simple, inviting and rewarding fishing actually can be.
Solution
We created a campaign designed to meet first-time anglers where they are — and remove every barrier in their way. With a simplified landing page, clear checklist and creative that tapped into real motivations like relaxation, connection and outdoor adventure, we made the path to the water feel approachable. This wasn’t just about information — it was about giving people a reason to go fishing, the confidence to try it and the chance to discover what they’d been missing.
