As the state’s only academic medical center, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has a distinct market advantage — unless people don’t understand the value of an academic medical center. Research showed they didn’t, so we set out to tell people exactly who UAMS was (or who “We AR” if you will). We gave them a unique identity to help them get noticed, then utilized matter-of-fact messaging about the services offered, all tagged with the “We AR” mantra.
The repeating triangle pattern in the brand identity creates a pattern of A and M shapes to help reinforce the UAMS name.
