As a business and as individuals, we strongly condemn discrimination, indignity and injustice in any form. Recent events are powerful reminders of how much work is yet to be done to address the inequalities that still exist in our society.

We must do more.

With this in mind, we have made diversity and inclusion a primary component of our business framework. Our vision for diversity and inclusion at Swanson Russell now states:

EXPANDING DIVERSITY, OPENLY EMBRACED, ELEVATING OUR WORK AND OUR CONNECTION TO EACH OTHER AND THE WORLD AROUND US.

Our newly formed diversity and inclusion team will engage and lead our entire agency in a permanent, ongoing effort to realize our vision through three pillars of action:

EMBRACE — Openly embrace our differences through ongoing education, open dialogue, listening, and by reviewing and updating aspects of our environment, core values and corporate policies.

EXPAND — Expand diversity on our team and who we do business with through better strategies in recruitment, vendor selection, client agreements and more.

ELEVATE — Elevate our connection to others by engaging our communities, supporting appropriate causes and sharing our creative expertise where it can do the most good.

We know the hard part is ahead of us. We have much to learn. We have a foundation of open conversation to build upon. And while we have a direction in place, implementation will require sustained focus over months, over years. We are up for the challenge. We are ready for change.
