Swanson Russell Hires Lidgett as Public Relations Associate

Lincoln, Neb. (Dec. 5, 2008) - Swanson Russell has hired Kari Lidgett as a public relations associate in its Omaha office.

Lidgett works with clients to develop and implement public relations and social media plans and programs. Her clients are mainly in the health care arena and include Creighton University Medical Center, Wolfe Eye Clinic and Great Plains Regional Medical Center.

The Chambers, Neb., native previously worked at marketing communications agencies Bozell in Omaha and Edelman in Chicago. Other previous employers include Yahoo! in Chicago and Langhart Communications in Washington, D.C.

Lidgett graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and political science from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators.
