Gateway Account Expands to Include Barr, Rodgers and Sorensen

LINCOLN, Neb., (August 9, 2007) - Swanson Russell Associates (SRA) announces the addition of Tyson Barr, Courtney Rodgers and Ryan Sorensen to the Lincoln, Neb., office’s growing Gateway computers account team.

Based in Irvine, Calif., Gateway was founded in 1985 and has been a technology pioneer, offering award-winning personal computers, servers and related products to consumers, businesses, government agencies and schools. Gateway is the third largest personal computer company in the United States and among the top ten worldwide.

Barr joins SRA as account manager, acting as the primary liaison for Gateway clients on a daily basis.  He previously worked as key accounts manager for INTRALOT, Inc., the online lottery vendor for the Nebraska Lottery.  Originally from Sidney, Neb., Barr graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Journalism degree in advertising.

Rodgers works as account coordinator and is responsible for daily oversight of client projects.  Before joining SRA, she was an intern at a Lincoln advertising agency.  A Lincoln native, Rodgers received a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Sorensen’s duties as art director include both the design and layout for the Gateway account’s creative pieces.  He previously worked as art director/Web designer for SKAR Advertising of Omaha.  Originally from Lincoln, Sorensen graduated with an associate degree in visual communications from Metro Community College and received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  He serves as director of records for the Nebraska chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and is a member of the Divvy Collective of Omaha.
