SRA Promotes Nemecek, Kemerling, Niehaus

LINCOLN, Neb., (July 11, 2007) - Swanson Russell Associates (SRA), Nebraska’s largest marketing communications firm, announces the promotions of Nikki Nemecek to account manager, Justin Kemerling to design lead and Drew Niehaus to public relations associate in its Lincoln office.

Nemecek’s new duties include strategic planning and project management for SRA clients Rain Bird, Standard Golf, Turfco and Shindaiwa.  Nemecek began her employment with SRA in 1999 as a receptionist and manager in the Omaha office.  She was later promoted to account coordinator in SRA’s Lincoln office, then associate account manager.  A native of Valley, Neb., Nemecek holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Neb.

Kemerling’s promotion provides continued leadership to SRA’s design team.  In this newly created position, he is responsible for keeping up with evolving design trends and managing a budget for the purchase of fonts, publications and other design tools.  Kemerling received a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and joined SRA in 2003 as a graphic designer.  He is originally from Wahoo, Neb.

As a public relations associate, Niehaus facilitates relations with various media to increase client exposure. Originally from Vail, Iowa, Niehaus came to SRA in 2006 as a public relations writer.  He previously served as the chief of community relations and public affairs specialist for Goodfellow Air Force Base near San Angelo, Texas.  He works on a number of SRA’s outdoor recreation accounts, including Brownells, Leupold, Weatherby and FoodSource Lures.  He is a member of the Professional Outdoor Media Association. Niehaus attended Creighton University in Omaha and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in applied communications.  He also attended the Defense Information School in Fort Meade, Md.
