SRA Wins Big at Omaha, Lincoln AMA Awards
LINCOLN, Neb. (July 17, 2007) - The Lincoln and Omaha chapters of the American Marketing Association (AMA) bestowed numerous awards upon Swanson Russell Associates (SRA) at their recent award ceremonies.
At the Omaha AMA awards, SRA earned 10 awards, including two top Pinnacle awards. At the Lincoln AMA’s Prism awards, SRA won nine Prisms and 10 merit certificates.
SRA won the Omaha AMA Pinnacle awards for Sergeant’s SENTRY Natural Defense Product Launch and the agency’s own "Name Game" promotion. SRA also received a total of five platinum AMA awards for Schering-Plough Animal Health Corporation’s Guardian "Boot" and S.O.A.P. direct mail pieces, and the Tri-Merit Riverboat Cruise materials; Sergeant’s SENTRY Natural Defense product launch campaign; and the Iowa Spine and Brain Institute Physician Referral Kit.
SRA earned three gold Omaha AMA awards for its Sergeant’s Doggie Bad Breath contest and SENTRY Natural Defense product launch media kit, and SRA’s Health Care New Business direct mail campaign.
SRA won Lincoln AMA Prism awards for its work on Nelnet’s brand research; its own promotion, “89 Days: Surviving a Nebraska Winter;” and for the Weatherby Writers’ Conference in the public relations category. SRA also won Prisms for Bryan LGH’s “Lincoln’s Newest Hospital” newspaper supplement, Tweeter’s store design and the agency’s own “Parking Lot Picnic”campaign. SRA won Prisms for its work with the Lincoln Youth Sports Coalition, which included a 2006 “Bleachers” newspaper ad, a 2006 “Let ’Em Play” billboard titled “Soccer Girls,” and the 30-second “Timeout” radio spot.
SRA also earned 10 merit awards for its work on campaigns for the Lincoln Youth Sports Coalition, FoodSource Lures, Gateway computers, National Arbor Day Foundation and Project EverGreen.
The Omaha and Lincoln AMA Chapters give awards based on results, as well as creative execution. The Omaha and Lincoln AMA Chapters are branches of the American Marketing Association, the world’s largest non-profit marketing association with almost 40,000 members worldwide.
