Swanson Russell Promotes Six

Swanson Russell announces the promotion of Chris Johnson and Laura Witte in the Omaha office and Robin Barrett, Ryan Holt, Venetia Reimnitz and Lynette Von Minden in the Lincoln office.
Crofton, Neb., native, Johnson was promoted to senior interactive designer. He was hired in 2009 as an interactive designer. Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in interactive media from Dana College in Blair, Neb. Prior to working at Swanson Russell, he was a web designer for Corporate 3 Design and Leopard, Inc., both in Omaha.
Witte was promoted from public relations coordinator to public relations writer. A native of Scribner, Neb., she graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics with an emphasis in marketing. Before joining the agency, Witte worked as a sales representative for Mycogen Seeds. Witte is a member of the Midlands National Agri-Marketing Association Chapter and the Public Relations Society of America Nebraska Chapter.
Barrett was promoted to media planner in the Lincoln Office. Originally from North Platte, Neb., she holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the UNL. Before joining the agency in 2004, Barrett worked as an administrative assistant at Chateau Development in Lincoln and a front office manager at Holiday Inn Express in Boulder, Colo.
Holt was promoted to associate art director in the Lincoln office. Prior to joining the agency in 2010, Holt served in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked as a designer at Nelnet in Lincoln. A Las Vegas native, he holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Las Vegas. Currently, Holt is also a design lecturer at UNL.
Reimnitz, promoted to accounting supervisor, has been a member of Swanson Russell's accounting team for more than 17 years. She started as a part-time accounting intern at the agency and was later hired full-time as an accounting assistant. She was later promoted to an accountant. A Lincoln native, Reimnitz holds an associate's degree in business and accounting from Southeast Community College in Lincoln.
Talmage, Neb., native Von Minden was promoted to senior public relations counsel. She holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from UNL. Von Minden is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association. Before joining Swanson Russell in 2007, she was director of communications for the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and a senior marketing specialist at iUniverse.
